How we guide you

Your health.
Your questions.

"No question is too small. No concern is too vague. If your body is worrying you, that already matters."

Women's health questions are too often dismissed with a wave or a hurried explanation. Project Nithya exists to close that gap — offering thoughtful, plain-language guidance for women across India and Sri Lanka, from people who take your concerns seriously.

Our specialty is haematology — the study of blood and blood disorders — but we also help women navigate reproductive health, hospital systems, and the preventive screenings that too often go unmentioned. We are not a replacement for medical care. We are the bridge that helps you access it.

Our specialty

When the issue
is in the blood.

Haematology — the study of blood and blood disorders — sits at the heart of women's health across our region. Anaemia affects more than half of women in India. Thalassemia carriers number in the millions across Sri Lanka. Iron deficiency, clotting disorders, postpartum haemorrhage — these are not rare conditions. They are everyday realities, and too often invisible until they become dangerous.

Project Nithya focuses here. We help women read their blood reports, navigate haematology consultations, understand carrier screening, and find the right specialists across India and Sri Lanka.

57%

of women in India live with anaemia, per NFHS-5 — the highest rate recorded in two decades.

1 in 22

people in Sri Lanka carry a thalassemia gene. Pre-conception screening changes outcomes.

Beyond haematology

Other areas
we guide you through.

From a confusing diagnosis to a screening you've been putting off — we listen, we explain, we point you to the right next step.

Reproductive & Menstrual Health

PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids — too many women endure these without a real diagnosis. We help you decode what your body is signalling and find a specialist who will take you seriously.

Navigating Doctors & Hospitals

Which specialist to see, what tests to ask for, how to read a report no one explained. We make sure you don't have to figure that out alone.

Preventive & Screening Care

Breast self-examination, cervical screening, thyroid panels, iron and ferritin checks. We tell you what to seek, when, and where it's available at little or no cost.

Know your healthcare rights

Right to informed consent

No procedure should happen without your understanding and agreement. You may ask questions and refuse treatment.

Right to a second opinion

You are always entitled to seek another doctor's view — especially before major procedures or surgery.

Right to your medical records

Hospitals must provide you copies of your own records, test results, and discharge summaries on request.

Right to free emergency care

Across India and Sri Lanka, hospitals cannot deny emergency treatment due to inability to pay. Know your rights — and call us if you need help asserting them.
