How we guide you

Your health.
Your questions.

"No question is too small. No concern is too vague. If your body is worrying you, that already matters."

Women's health questions are too often dismissed with a wave or a hurried explanation. Project Nithya exists to close that gap — offering thoughtful, plain-language guidance for women across India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia, from people who take your concerns seriously.

We are not a replacement for medical care. We are the bridge that helps you access it — clearly, confidently, and without the usual overwhelm.

Project Nithya health guidance

Areas we guide you through

Every question deserves
a real answer.

From conditions that take years to diagnose, to screenings most women never hear about — we guide you through it all. In plain language. Without judgment.

Reproductive & Menstrual Health

Your cycle is not
the problem.

“PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids — these are not things to quietly endure.”

Too many women are handed a diagnosis — or worse, no diagnosis at all — and sent home without explanation. We help you decode what your body is signalling, know which questions to bring to a specialist, and understand what a real path to answers looks like.

Navigating Doctors & Hospitals

You are allowed
to ask again.

“Nithya once told a room of doctors what her body would and wouldn’t accept — and she was right.”

Which specialist to see. What tests to request. How to read a report no one explained. How to say ‘I need more information’ in a room designed to move you along. We make sure you never have to figure that out alone.

Preventive & Screening Care

The check you keep
putting off.

“Early detection is not a luxury. It is the difference.”

Breast self-examination. Cervical screening. Thyroid and bone density checks. We tell you what to seek, when to seek it, and where it is available to you at little or no cost — because prevention is the most powerful thing medicine offers, and most women are never properly told about it.

Maternal & Postnatal Health

After the birth,
you still matter.

“Postnatal depression, recovery, breastfeeding — the parts no one prepares you for.”

Pregnancy is not always the picture it is made out to be. Neither is what comes after. From antenatal concerns to the quiet struggles of postpartum life, we offer honest, compassionate, non-judgemental guidance — for every stage of the journey, not just the one that gets celebrated.

Menopause & Perimenopause

This is not
just getting older.

“What you are experiencing has a name, and it deserves proper care.”

Too many women are told that what they feel is ‘just age’ or ‘just stress.’ Perimenopause and menopause are real, significant, and manageable with the right information. We help you understand the transition and find care that sees the whole of you — not just the hormone panel.

Government Schemes & Access

You are entitled
to more than you know.

“Healthcare entitlements exist that most women are never told about.”

Ayushman Bharat and PMJAY in India. Arogya Suwa Diriya in Sri Lanka. PhilHealth and BPJS across Southeast Asia. Free medicines, subsidised diagnostics, government-funded specialists — they exist. We help you understand what you are owed, and how to claim it without the usual confusion.

Right to informed consent

No procedure should happen without your understanding and agreement. You may ask questions and refuse treatment.

Right to a second opinion

You are always entitled to seek another doctor's view — especially before major procedures or surgery.

Right to your medical records

Hospitals must provide you copies of your own records, test results, and discharge summaries on request.

Right to free emergency care

Across India, Sri Lanka, and most of Southeast Asia, hospitals cannot deny emergency treatment due to inability to pay. Know your rights — and call us if you need help asserting them.
